Dare to be different

For those of us with teenagers being different is not really allowed.  They want us to blend in, to avoid any embarrassment factor.  That, coupled with lack of time and having other things to think about causes many of us to fall into the trap - you know you've done it - I have.  The black trouser and coloured top combo.  Okay, this has its place but I'll come back to this another day.

So, instead of black trousers why not navy, brown or grey. All of which will go with a multitude of colours enabling what I call 'smash and grab dressing'.  That is that 7am what to wear quandry when trying to get ready for work whilst finding school stuff, making lunches, feeding the dog and putting a load of washing on.

These navy trouser from Zara would be great with a white shirt,  or a teal coloured top.

Zara navy trouser £29.99

Oasis blouse £35.00

Or for another colourway, which you could still wear the teal blouse with.

Next trousers £23.00

If you hang items together that go together this cuts down time in the morning and eliminates that staring wardrobe syndrome, you know when you stand and stare at your clothes form 5 minutes without moving because you have nothing to wear.  Also, being a bit different shows imagination, character and youthfulness. What's not to like?
